Go and Be...
Go and Be... This is the main theme in the book of Act - (Acts 1:8) "But you shall recieve power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem (Or your country), and in all of Judea (or your state), and samaria (or your city/town), and to the ends of the earth."
This means that we MUST be witnesses to the Lord. He is not here to preach andteach about God, but instead we are here to spread his word across the world! (Of course your not going to travel from country to country) but there are a lot of people in your own town or school who don't know about God's Glory! Just think... One conversation with a person, could change there life... lead them to church...Save them from Eternity in hell. Now ask yourself are you being his witness?
In the book of Acts you will see many stories of Disciples with tremendous amounts of faith. (I wish I had faith like these Disciples at times)
Saul who is prosecuting all Christians and killing them is made blind by the light of Heaven on the way to Damascus and he is changed to the Disciple
Paul. And the Lord says "Go, forth for "he" (Saul) is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, Kings, and the Children of Israel." (Acts 9:15-16)
Just think... Paul who as once Saul who was pursecuting and killing Christians is a chosen vessel of the Lord to preach his word. (Isn't God Amazing!)
